Meghan Markle sparked debate among fans after giving some life advice to a group of young girls while promoting one of her films. The Duchess of Sussex appeared in a new video promoting Cookie Queens, a documentary she executive-produced with her husband, Prince Harry, through their Archewell Productions company.
In the new Tasty video, Meghan appeared alongside Cookie Queens director Alysa Nahmias and three Girl Scouts – Niki, Shannon-Elizabeth and Olive. One of the girls asked her about something she was told as a child that “still guides her to this day”. Meghan replied: “Keep a good heart.”

She said: “I just think it’s one of those simple things you can always remember no matter what situation you’re in,” the Duchess of Sussex continued. “Just go, ‘Keep a good heart.’”
But some fans were not impressed with the answer, following her previous attacks to the Royal Family, or her estranged relationship with her father, Thomas Markle, and took to social media to express their views.
One user wrote on X: “I guess Meghan never took this advice.”
Another one added: “You have to have a good heart to keep a good heart.”
A third one commented: “If someone had to go this hard about being kind and a good human, it usually means they’re a s***** person.”
A fourth one said: “In one ear & out the other obviously.”
A fifth user wrote: “A good heart, Meghan? I’m not even sure you have a heart.”
Others loved the duchess’s answer, with one fan saying: “The type of wholesome content I like! I can’t wait to see Cookie Queens!!!”
