Dave Crosby and his daughter Claire Crosby shared an adorable moment on The Voice stage in season 13. Claire crashed her dad’s Blind Audition to sing “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” from the classic film Toy Story. Check out the adorable performance below.

Claire Crosby Joined Her Dad On Stage During ‘The Voice’ Audition

Dave originally auditioned after posting several videos with Claire on YouTube that went viral online. Their cover of “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” was noticed by Ellen DeGeneres and she invited them to perform on The Ellen Show. This performance currently has over 14.6 million views on YouTube.

On The Voice, Dave sang “I Will Follow You Into The Dark.” Coach Adam Levine was the first to turn his chair. Just when Adam thought he had this one in the bag, Miley Cyrus and Blake Shelton both turned their chairs. Dave explained he almost gave up on music until he became a dad and his videos with Claire went viral. Adam quickly realized that he was the one who sang with his daughter on The Ellen Show. He requested for Claire to come out onto the stage and perform “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” with her dad.

Claire began singing the song that made her a viral sensation and the coaches loved every second of it. They gave her a standing ovation. Blake joked that he would like to have Claire on his team. After all of the cuteness on the stage, Dave chose to be on Team Adam. He was eliminated from the competition during The Battles which came as a shock since he had such a memorable Blind Audition.

If you love hearing Disney songs on talent competition shows, check out the compilation below. It features 10 young contestants that sang some classic Disney songs and the judges completely loved it. Of course, Claire and her dad made the list.

Claire Returned To The Show The Following Year

Claire returned to The Voice in 2018 to interview the coaches. She hilariously called out Blake for having a mullet back in high school. Claire also roasted Blake for the tattoo he has on his arm that everyone mistakes to be ladybugs, but it’s actually deer tracks. She also spoke to Alicia Keys about her children’s book and how she can be a “big strong woman” just like her.

One thing that’s for certain is that Claire already has a great sense of humor and we hope to see her possibly try out for The Voice in the future. She and her dad have continued to update their YouTube channel with singing videos and vlogs. Dave and Claire just posted a cover of “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” just in time for the holidays. Claire played a ukelele during the song while her dad played the guitar.

The Crosby family is also about to gain another member as Ashley Crosby only has a few weeks left of her fourth pregnancy.
