Kelly Clarkson Sang “Golden” Like It Was Nothing… Then The Voice Coaches Heard It And Couldn’t Stop Reacting! Kelly Clarkson took on “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters — one of those songs that can expose even the smallest weakness — and somehow made the whole thing look ridiculously easy. Within hours, the performance was racing toward millions of views, leaving fans stunned by the control, range, and sheer power in her voice. But then came the reaction from The Voice coaches. Watching Kelly tear through the demanding vocals, one coach jokingly admitted it was “almost annoying how talented” she is. And that playful reaction somehow made the performance even more impressive. Because when professional singers are watching you tackle a song like Golden and their biggest complaint is that you make it look too easy… you know Kelly just delivered something special.

The Voice is giving fans a closer look at its new coaching lineup ahead of the Season 30 premiere.

A new video shows returning coaches Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson sitting down with newcomers Queen Latifah and Riley Green to talk about the show, their music careers and what the new season will bring.

Clarkson welcomed the two new coaches with plenty of excitement, telling them she was happy they were joining the panel and describing them as fun additions to the show.

Levine also found an unexpected connection with Queen Latifah when he realized they share the same birthday. Latifah responded with a joke about their “Pisces powers,” setting a playful tone for the conversation.

For Green, joining The Voice still felt difficult to believe. The country singer admitted that the other three coaches seemed very famous to him and said he could not imagine a better group to join for his first season.

Queen Latifah revealed that she took some time to think about the opportunity before accepting it. She said she prayed about the decision, and just two days later, she knew she wanted to be part of the show.

She also made it clear that The Voice was a show she already loved and had always wanted to join.

Clarkson then gave the newcomers a preview of what to expect during the Blind Auditions.

She described the auditions as a lot of fun but admitted that there can also be difficult moments, especially when none of the coaches turn their chairs for a contestant.

She also pointed out that a singer’s voice can sometimes sound very different from what the coaches expect when they first hear them.

The conversation also turned into a celebration of Clarkson’s own singing ability.

Both Queen Latifah and Levine praised the longtime coach, with Latifah joking about what Clarkson cannot sing. Levine agreed, joking that it was almost annoying how talented she is and saying she is never bad.

Clarkson also talked about one of her recent performances, a cover of Golden from KPop Demon Hunters, which she performed during the final episode of her talk show.

Levine teased her about taking on such a difficult song, while Clarkson admitted that the song gave her a hard time.

With the new coaching lineup now ready, fans will soon get to see how the four personalities work together when The Voice Season 30 premieres on NBC on Sept. 21.

The season brings back two familiar faces while giving Queen Latifah and Riley Green their first chance to compete for new talent alongside them.
