Clarkson sang the opening verse solo, before Yearwood entered to sing the second, with Clarkson providing a beautiful backing vocal. The real showstopper of the performance came in the fourth verse when the trio sang together acapella, giving off an intimate gospel vibe that is just so moving to hear. The trio performed the song for Clarkson’s Cautionary Christmas Music Tale NBC special. The lead single from the album, “Underneath the Tree”, was a big hit and went 2x Platinum in the UK.
