MEGHAN MARKLE’S HOLLYWOOD POWER BROKER BREAKS HIS SILENCE — ARI EMANUEL REVEALS THE TV PROJECTS NOW BEING LINED UP FOR THE DUCHESS

Meghan Markle may still have opportunities on the Hollywood horizon, despite losing the personal backing of one of the entertainment industry’s most powerful figures.
Ari Emanuel, the billionaire talent agent who once personally represented the Duchess of Sussex, has revealed that his agency is still securing work for her, including potential reality television and other TV projects.
The comments offer a fresh glimpse into Meghan’s professional future after Emanuel confirmed that he stepped away from representing her last year. While he is no longer personally involved, Meghan remains on the books at his William Morris Endeavor (WME) agency, where other agents continue to handle her interests.
ARI EMANUEL REVEALS MEGHAN IS ‘GETTING BOOKED’

Emanuel made the remarks during an interview with US broadcaster Megyn Kelly, who questioned him about his earlier comments that it was a “great thing” he no longer had to think about Meghan’s career.
The Hollywood power broker explained that his decision was driven by competing professional commitments rather than personal animosity towards the Duchess.
“Listen, I got a busy life. She is finding her voice, I am happy for her,” he said.
Emanuel, who runs TKO Group Holdings alongside his other business interests, explained that he had decided to let other agents manage Meghan’s requirements.
“It was better to let them deal with her and execute against her needs and her desires. And I’m happy that everybody’s doing it for me,” he said.
He added that representing clients often meant thinking about their needs from the moment he woke up, and he no longer wanted Meghan’s career to occupy that much of his attention.

“Having nothing about her, I just needed to move on to other things I was doing,” he said.
When Kelly asked whether there was still a significant appetite for Meghan’s services, Emanuel confirmed that his colleagues were continuing to work on opportunities for her.
“I think there’s a bunch of things that our people are doing for her now. So, that’s a good thing. I’m just not involved,” he said.
‘SHE’S ACTUALLY GETTING BOOKED’
Kelly, who has frequently criticised Meghan and Prince Harry, suggested that Emanuel might have wanted to focus on projects more likely to generate bookings and revenue.
Emanuel rejected the implication that his departure meant Meghan had no prospects, instead comparing his approach to allowing children to become independent.
“The great thing is I hope I’ve done with my own children, my four kids — you have to let them grow up,” he said. “I don’t want to be a helicopter parent.”

When Kelly questioned whether Meghan’s career was progressing particularly well, Emanuel responded with a more direct assessment.
“I think she’s actually getting booked and there’s reality stuff and TV stuff. They’re doing stuff. I don’t know about it,” he said.
He did not identify the programmes or explain what roles Meghan might be pursuing, leaving the nature of the reported projects unclear.
Nevertheless, his comments suggest that her professional relationship with WME remains active, even without his personal involvement.
THE NETFLIX RUMOUR THAT COULD OFFER A CLUE
Emanuel’s remarks come amid speculation that Meghan could be considered for a role in the third series of Netflix drama The Gentlemen.
However, no confirmed casting announcement was included in the reports, and Emanuel did not connect Meghan to the series during his interview.
The Duchess signed with WME in April 2023 in a deal intended to support her content production and brand partnerships.
Her original representation team included Emanuel, Jill Smoller — who represents Meghan’s tennis star friend Serena Williams — and Brad Slater, whose clients include Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Reports emerged in February last year claiming that WME had dropped Meghan and that she had not met with Emanuel since January 2024. The agency rejected the suggestion that it had stopped working with her, saying it continued to represent the Duchess, particularly on projects connected with the Archewell Foundation she established with Harry.
The Sunday Times subsequently confirmed in an interview with Emanuel last month that the pair had parted ways personally.
Asked about Meghan’s future, he told the newspaper’s magazine: “Here’s the great thing: I don’t have to think about that any more.”
Multiple sources have also confirmed to the Daily Mail that Emanuel is no longer part of Meghan’s personal team, although she continues to be represented by WME in Beverly Hills.
THE HOLLYWOOD FIGURE BEHIND THE HEADLINES

Emanuel is one of the entertainment industry’s most influential executives.
He founded the Endeavor talent agency in 1995, which merged with the William Morris Agency in 2009 to form William Morris Endeavor.
His larger-than-life reputation also inspired Ari Gold, the fictional Hollywood super-agent played by Jeremy Piven in HBO comedy-drama Entourage.
Emanuel’s new memoir, Roll the Calls, was ghostwritten by John Moehringer, the same writer who collaborated with Harry on his controversial 2023 memoir, Spare.
His decision to step away from Meghan therefore marks a change in a relationship that once placed the Duchess alongside some of Hollywood’s biggest names. Yet his latest remarks indicate that the wider agency continues to work on her behalf.
HARRY AND MEGHAN’S RETURN TO BRITAIN ADDS ANOTHER LAYER
The developments come as Harry and Meghan navigate a new chapter following their reported return to Britain in August with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, after six years living in the United States.
The couple have reportedly settled in the Cotswolds, and their children have changed schools following security concerns about the journey to their previous school.
Their return has also prompted renewed discussion about their status and security arrangements. A letter sent on the King’s instructions last month reportedly maintained that the couple should be regarded as “private citizens” during their time in the UK, a position said to have surprised the Sussexes.
Despite the disagreements, both Harry and Meghan have expressed happiness about being back in Britain.
They are reportedly expected to spend Christmas with Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, 70, who lives in California, rather than attending the Royal Family’s traditional gathering at Sandringham in Norfolk.
On Thursday, the couple are due to undertake their first joint engagement since returning to the UK, visiting the Community Recording Studio in St Ann’s, Nottingham.
Originally established to give young people access to music and recording facilities, the charity now offers a broader programme of creative activities, sport, mentoring and youth development.
For Meghan, the immediate question surrounding her career remains unanswered: Emanuel has confirmed that television opportunities are being pursued, but the projects themselves remain under wraps. What is clear is that his personal departure has not ended her relationship with one of Hollywood’s major talent agencies.
