Social media exploded this morning after Nick Cannon decided to reopen one of hip-hop’s most infamous feuds — his long-standing beef with Eminem.
In a since-deleted tweet, Cannon wrote:
“Back in 2019 on my song Lord Above I dissed Eminem and he just never replied. I’ll tell you now — I won that rap beef because he was too chicken to respond. That’s when I realized I’m the new Rap God.”
The Wild ’N Out host even bragged that his success as an entertainer and freestyle host was proof of his lyrical dominance. “Even on my show, I hardly lose — it’s all fun, but the truth is I’ve been untouchable,” Cannon added.
Within minutes, the tweet went viral — thousands of fans tagging Eminem, daring him to reply.

And then, out of nowhere, he did.
Eminem — known for choosing his words with surgical precision — broke his silence with a single brutal sentence:
“Hey Nick, you just have way too many kids for me to embarrass you in front of all of them.”
That was it. No verse. No diss track. Just one sentence — and the internet erupted.
