As it stands today, “Choosin’ Texas” is the longest-running #1 hit by a female country artist on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 (nine non-consecutive weeks), the only country song by a woman to triple up and go #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100, Hot Country and Country Airplay chart simultaneously and just the seventh country song solely recorded by a woman to go #1 on the Hot 100 in the history of the chart.

In case that wasn’t enough, thanks to the success of her sophomore album, Dandelion, which debuted at #1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 and sold 169,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in its first week, Langley became just the second woman in history to hold the #1 album and song in the U.S. simultaneously with a country song/album. Of course, Taylor Swift was the first, going #1 with Red (Taylor’s Version) and “All Too Well (Taylor’s Version)” back in 2021.

Last week, she made history by becoming just the third artist in history to hold the top three songs on the Hot Country Songs chart, charting “Choosin’ Texas,” “Be Her,” and her internet-breaking Morgan Wallen collaboration, “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” from #1-3.

With “Choosin’ Texas” spending its ninth week at #1 and “Be Her” rising from #5 to #2 on the Hot 100, Langley is now the first female country artist in history to simultaneously hold the Top 2 songs in the United States. To understand just how rare this feat is, this is the first time in the chart’s 67-year history that a woman in country music has accomplished this — a feat that legends such as Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Shania Twain and more have never achieved.

Off the charts, Ella Langley is also making history as a role model, proving to young girls that you can have it all as a woman. Just as Lainey Wilson empowers young girls to embrace their western flair through her “Cowgirl of the Night” segments during her concerts, Ella Langley is now taking on that role, serving as a role model for young country music fans. Whether Ella Langley realizes it or not, she’s the next big role model that little girls look up to and think, “I want to be her when I grow up.” And she’s already making a huge impact.

Recently, the impact Ella Langley has on young girls was on full display at a Pre-K talent show. An adorable trio of girls got up on stage to sing her big hit “Choosin’ Texas” in front of their peers. The group of girls fully embraces their Ella Langley stage confidence and wastes no time diving into the performance.
