Lainey Wilson treated fans to the television debut performance of her brand new single, “Phone, Keys, Wallet,” during CMA Fest presented by SoFi on Thursday night.

The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year delivered a breezy, feel-good performance while lighting up the Nissan Stadium stage during the festival in Nashville. Her performance came just weeks after the song’s release and gives fans a taste of what’s to come on her new album.

The song finds the newlywed professing her love for her other half, admitting she cannot function without him and comparing him (in a way) to her “Phone, Keys, Wallet.”

“Boy, you know I’d lose my head if it wasn’t attached, got a couple screws loose/ Be up a creek if I ever forget what keeps the ground underneath my two boots/ I’d be outta-luck lost if I ever up and lose/ Yeah, Jesus, Jones, Mama, my phone, keys, wallet, and you,” she sings.

The recorded version of the track features John Mayer on guitar and was recorded at Mayer’s Chapel Studios in Los Angeles.

Of the song, Wilson previously shared, “I feel like a tornado with boots on half the time, and this song is really about finding somebody who’s okay with that chaos and chooses to love you through it anyway.”

“Phone, Keys, Wallet” is at country radio now.

Wilson was one of several artists who performed at CMA Fest, which took over Downtown Nashville in early June, bringing an estimated 100,000 fans per day to Music City.
