Meghan is spotted ‘jamming’ to Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine’s performance at charity gala – while Prince Harry stays seated
The Duchess of Sussex was captured ‘jamming’ to a performance by Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine at a gala in honour of David Foster on Friday night while Prince Harry stayed seated beside her.
Montecito-based Meghan, 45, and Prince Harry, 41, flew to the music mogul’s home city of Victoria, Canada, to celebrate his eponymous foundation which raises money for families with children who require lifesaving organ transplants.
And the couple appeared to have plenty of fun, with the mother-of-two spotted by reporter Daniella Atkinson standing up and swaying to Adam’s performance, while Harry enjoyed it seated.
‘Jamming with the Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry to Adam Levine,’ Daniella wrote alongside the clip.
A selection of other stars took to the stage on Friday evening, including CeeLo Green and Loren Allred.
But that wasn’t all: earlier in the evening, Meghan quipped her husband ‘loves bagpipes’ as the couple were played in by a pipe band complete with drummers.
In a video posted to Instagram on Saturday, the couple walked through a corridor lined with bagpipers at the 40th anniversary of The David Foster Foundation.
At the start of the video, the Duchess told the musicians: ‘My husband loves bagpipes!’

As they walked past the musicians, Meghan added: ‘Oh my god, this is amazing!’
Harry then joked: ‘Where are mine?’ He then said he could play both ‘pipes and drums’.
Meghan later cut to a plate featuring an edible piano dessert before panning to the programme for the evening’s gala and concert.
The Duchess added a sentimental touch to her evening ensemble by wearing Princess Diana’s diamond-and-sapphire earrings.
Harry wore a black tuxedo, matching his wife’s black one-shouldered gown which was made by Canadian designer Greta Constantine.
The Sussexes posed for pictures with 16-time Grammy winner Foster, 76, and his wife, actress and singer Katharine McPhee, 42.
Meghan and Harry have long been friends with the couple and were previously pictured on a double date with them.
In 2019, Foster arranged for the Duke and Duchess to stay at a close friend’s mansion on Vancouver Island, telling the Daily Mail at the time: ‘I felt honoured that I was able to help Meghan there because I’m a Canadian, and we’re a Commonwealth country – we’re the Crown’s.

‘It’s important to us, so I grew up with that kind of sentiment. I was really happy to be able to help them to find a respite just to take a little time off.’
The mansion, a secluded waterfront estate in North Saanich, British Columbia, was owned by Mr Foster’s close friend, whose identity he refused to give away.
McPhee went to school with the Duchess and told Access Hollywood in 2020 her husband and Harry have a ‘really, really beautiful relationship’.
‘They’re so cute. They’re like father and son.
‘We just stay in touch with them [the Sussexes]. But mostly, Meghan and I knew each other from childhood, but really Harry and my husband are friends. It’s really nice.’
