Lionel Richie’s Health Scare Deepens… New ICU Update Leaves Fans HEARTBROKEN! Lionel Richie’s team has shared a new health update after the legendary singer was reportedly left dizzy and taken to the ICU following his St. Louis concert. The frightening incident comes just weeks after Richie faced another health scare, leaving fans increasingly worried about the 77-year-old star’s condition. Now, the latest update from his team has fans holding their breath—and the timing makes this scare even more unsettling.

Lionel Richie has reportedly been hospitalized following his latest concert in St. Louis.

The legendary singer, 77, checked himself into a local hospital after performing at The Muny in Forest Park on Saturday night. According to TMZ, Richie is currently in the intensive care unit as doctors evaluate him for possible dehydration. Sources close to the singer said he is hoping to be released on Tuesday.

Concern grew during the final moments of his performance when Richie reportedly asked for a chair while singing All Night Long. Local station KMOX also reported that the singer was seen sitting during the closing song, with video from the concert appearing to capture the moment.

The latest hospital visit comes after Richie experienced another health scare earlier this summer.

During the opening night of his Sing a Song All Night Long tour in St. Paul, Minnesota, on June 24, Richie told the audience that he was feeling dizzy and needed to sit down while performing Dancing on the Ceiling.

The singer joked about the unusual moment, pointing out that he had never performed the song while seated before. He later performed Three Times a Lady before the concert was brought to an early end.

Richie subsequently postponed several tour dates after doctors advised him to rest and fully recover.

He returned to the stage in Pittsburgh more than a week later and used humor to reassure the audience.

“I had you worried there for a minute,” Richie joked before opening up about the difficult 24 hours he had experienced.

The Grammy winner later told fans that he was doing well and thanked them for their support.

Richie first launched his Sing a Song All Night Long tour with Earth, Wind & Fire in 2023. After the original arena run continued through 2024, the two legendary acts reunited for another round of shows in 2026.

Following his latest health scare, Richie is not currently scheduled to perform again until September 26, when he is expected to take the stage at Chase Center in San Francisco.

His current tour schedule is set to continue into January 2027, with a final stop planned at Lucas Oil Live in Thackerville, Oklahoma, following a six-show Las Vegas residency.

For now, fans will be hoping the music legend gets the rest and care he needs before returning to the stage.
