Cruel Intentions: The Scandalous ’90s Teen Drama That Turned Its Young Stars Into Hollywood Icons Is Now on Netflix
For a movie made for roughly $10 million, Cruel Intentions had an outsized impact. Released in 1999, the R-rated teen drama transformed Ryan Phillippe, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Reese Witherspoon, and Selma Blair into major young stars while becoming one of the defining movies of the late ’90s.
