Princess Anne’s daughter was spotted with Queen Camilla this weekend.

Zara Tindall may not be a working member of the Royal Family, but behind closed doors she is a very key member of the family. While she lives a more ordinary life than some of her royal relatives who hold royal titles, this does not affect her ability to get on with them.
Over the years, Zara has been seen sharing sweet moments with a number of her royal relatives, and this weekend was no exception. As she stepped out at Ascot Racecourse over the weekend for British Champions Day, the bond between Zara – niece of King Charles – and Queen Camilla was clear for all to see.
Not only did the two royal women spend time chatting with one another, but Princess Anne’s daughter – who was accompanied to the event by her husband Mike Tindall – made a sweet, discreet gesture showing how friendly she is with Camilla. This happened when the two women said goodbye.

Rather than simply saying farewell and walking away, Zara stroked Queen Camilla’s arm and gave her two small gentle squeezes. Earlier on in the day, the royal women greeted each other with a kiss on the cheek.
Not only does Zara get on well with Camilla, but she also has a close bond with King Charles. This has been shown multiple times over the years, with Zara and Charles often seen laughing together at events.
Former royal gardener Jack Stooks once said that Zara seems to bring out her uncle’s sense of humour. Speaking on behalf of Fruity King, Jack once said: “Zara always seems quite lighthearted.
“The King has a good sense of humour and is fun as well, but people don’t necessarily see that much.
“They don’t know what he’s like, so he can seem a bit stiff. But I think Zara brings a bit of that cheeky naughtiness out of him, and she can always make him laugh.”
King Charles did not attend Ascot Racecourse this weekend with his wife or niece. The next time King Charles is likely to be seen in public with his niece is on Christmas Day.

That’s because every Christmas, the royals who gather at Sandringham for the festivities – which usually involves Zara and her family – do a public walkabout after they walk to church. As they walk to church, the royals are also seen together, with King Charles and Queen Camilla leading the rest of the family.
This is the main event of the year, apart from Royal Ascot and Easter Sunday, when the King is seen with his niece. It is believed they talk to or see each other more behind closed doors.
