Karoline Leavitt Shares Lavish 29th Birthday Gifts As She Prepares To Leave The White House

Karoline Leavitt is marking her 29th birthday with a glimpse at some very special gifts — while preparing to close the door on her time as White House press secretary.

On Monday, Aug. 24, Leavitt shared a photo of birthday presents and cards from her family on Instagram Stories. Among the gifts were two Louis Vuitton boxes tied with blue ribbons, alongside a bouquet of flowers and three pink envelopes addressed to “Mom,” “Momma” and “My wife.”

The gifts came from members of her family, including her husband, 60-year-old Nicholas Riccio.

A Birthday During A Major Life Transition

Leavitt and Riccio married in January 2025 and share two children. Their son, Nicholas “Niko,” was born in July 2024, followed by their daughter, Viviana “Vivi,” in May 2026.

Her 29th birthday arrives during an important period of change for Leavitt.

She is preparing to resign from her role as White House press secretary at the end of August, a decision that will allow her to spend more time with her family.

President Donald Trump announced the news on Truth Social on Aug. 12, praising Leavitt’s work in the White House and saying she would continue as one of his top outside advisers and an influential voice within the Republican Party.

Her Final Days As Press Secretary

Leavitt made history as the youngest White House press secretary and became Trump’s second-longest-serving press secretary across his two administrations.

As her departure approaches, she has already begun sharing moments from her final days in the role.

Last week, Leavitt posted photos and videos from a farewell celebration on Instagram Stories. The party included a cake designed to look like the press secretary’s lectern, complete with a White House seal.

She also showed off custom cookies, including one decorated with the words “no more questions” in blue icing.

What Comes Next?

Although Leavitt is leaving the White House, her political career is not coming to an end.

She has revealed that she will return to work with Trump’s super PAC, MAGA Inc., in September. Before joining Trump’s 2024 campaign, she worked for the organization as a spokesperson. Her new title has not yet been announced.

For now, Leavitt and her family plan to remain in Washington, D.C.
