Shakira lit up MetLife stadium with a dose of dopamine dressing as she co-headlined the 2026 FIFA World Cup final halftime show on July 19. During a mid-game pause in the competition’s final match between Spain and Argentina, the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer dazzled on the field in a plunging hot pink and yellow feather gown with giant side-baring cutouts.

Shakira performed “Dai Dai,” the official song of the 2026 World Cup, alongside Burna Boy as she co-headlined the first-ever halftime show with Madonna, Justin Bieber, and BTS. As she danced on the field, the 49-year-old Colombian singer wowed in her vibrant low-cut gown, which was laced up in the front and exposed her toned sides and back with a thin strip of bedazzled fabric running down the front of her torso.

The sparkling material transitioned into a pink and yellow feathered design at the gown’s low-rise skirt, which featured a daring hip-high slit and floor-grazing silhouette. Holding a matching hot pink microphone, Shakira went barefoot for the high-energy performance. She styled her waist-length blonde hair in her signature voluminous curls with a subtle side part, framing her soft smoky eyeshadow and matte mauve lipstick.

The mom-of-two shares sons Milan, 13, and Sasha, 11, with ex-partner, former Spain soccer player Gerard Piqué, who was also in the stands during her performance. Shakira previously opened up about her family’s personal connection to the World cup, which is where the “Waka Waka” singer previously met Piqué in 2010.
“That’s why I call my kids the ‘Waka’ kids; I think they were born because of that song,” she told People in an interview published on June 4. Shakira, who was with her ex-partner for 11 years before calling it quits in 2022, added, “That song took me to the World Cup, the World Cup had an important impact in my life, and they were born—the best thing that has happened to me.”
