Fans have praised Harry Styles after he stopped mid-concert to offer heartfelt dating advice to a fan who asked for help with her love life. The former One Direction star is currently touring as part of his latest world tour, entertaining thousands of fans with his music – and plenty of candid interactions between songs.

During one show, a fan held up a sign asking the singer for dating advice, prompting Harry to pause and share what he described as advice “from the depths of my soul”. He told the crowd: “The advice from the depths of my soul. Well, first of all, I would say if someone likes you, you will know someone really likes you.

“They won’t leave you guessing or playing tricks. ‘Does he like me? Does he know?’ You’ll know. They’ll treat you as such. Fill up your own cup, then fall in love with the other one.”

The touching moment quickly spread across social media, with fans praising the singer for his thoughtful response. Commenting on the clip, one fan said: “His shows are slowly becoming dating shows. I’m crying.”

Another added: “This is seriously good advice.” A third wrote: “Fill up your own cup and let them fall in love with the overflow.”

The video has since racked up millions of views, with many saying Harry’s words resonated with them long after the concert had ended.

The 32-year-old hitmaker is currently in the middle of a record-breaking 12-night residency at The O2 in London as part of his Together, Together tour, following the success of his latest album, Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally.

The run has surpassed the previous record of 10 concerts held by Coldplay last summer and the eight performed by Taylor Swift in 2024.

According to Medium, Harry’s advice is spot on, with one relationship expert arguing that “if you’re confused, they don’t like you.” Speaking about dating, the publication explains that mixed signals are often a sign that someone isn’t genuinely interested.

A statement reads: “Ladies, if he’s not texting you much, you don’t know where you stand with him, and you’re feeling confused, he doesn’t like you. I’m not even talking about texting all day. I mean normal, consistent communication.

“Maybe during the work day you’re not texting a lot, but you know when you’re going to see him next. He’s checking in with you, and plans are clear.

“If you’re feeling confused, and days or even weeks go by with barely any communication, or he uses vague phrases like, ‘We should do something Friday,’ only to text you at 7pm on Friday saying ‘So, where you at?’ – it’s time to pull the plug.”

This supports Harry’s message that, if someone genuinely likes you, they won’t leave you second-guessing how they feel.
