That arrangement could create a very different lifestyle for Meghan — one built around regular travel across the Atlantic rather than a permanent departure from California.

Meghan’s Business Could Keep Her Tied to the US

According to a friend of the Duchess quoted by the Daily Mail and subsequently reported by the Daily Express, Meghan is expected to spend significant periods in America because of her responsibilities with her lifestyle business, As Ever.

The friend claimed that managing the company remotely would not be enough, saying: “Meghan will need to spend quite a bit of time in the US. She can’t just dial in, she will need to be there.”

If that proves to be the arrangement, Meghan would effectively operate between two countries, maintaining a physical presence in the United States for professional commitments while spending substantial time with her family in Britain.

Other reporting has similarly indicated that Meghan intends to continue managing As Ever while moving between the couple’s UK and US residences.
